Hello!

I've just returned from my travels today so I thought I'd send you an email
telling you what I did while it was all still fresh in my mind. I started my
nearly three week bender of travelling with the Rotary tour of St.
Petersburg, Russia. There we saw the sights of the city, including the
Winter Palace, the Hermitage Museum (which was Huge), and the Pavlovsk
Palace. Three days after returning from that trip I was off to England to
meet up with my parents. While in England we travelled to York, the Lake
District (some of the most beautiful scenery I've ever seen), Blackpool,
Warwick, and Cambridge. It was nice to see my family again after so long and
it was even more enjoyable to travel through England with them, even if I
did have to endure my father's uneasy driving for a week, hehe. From England
I travelled to Frankfurt, Germany and met my host parents. From the airport,
our group of Finns (my host parents, some of their neighbours and me) took a
bus down to Trier, wich is both the birthplace of Carl Marx, and the oldest
city in Germany - established over 2000 years ago by the Romans. We spent 3
days there, and it was wonderful, the food and sights and people were great.

Today I returned home to a heap of emails, a presentation to finish and
present, some sleep to catch up on, and a Beaver Tale to send in - all this
and my ears haven't even popped yet! I can't complain though, for all this
'work' that I still have to do I've just had the best three week vacation of
my life. I'll be working like a madman to get all of my chores done so that
I can spend some time with my Finnish friends before embarking on the Euro
Tour.

I hope that you are all enjoying the spring, I haven't been following the
weather over there, but I'll go out on a limb and assume that it's beautiful
and warm. Therefore I'll also assume that you've been out hitting some balls
around on the course already, and if I'm wrong then I hope you get around to
it soon.

Happy golfing,
-Piers
