More then a year ago Mark spoke to our club just before he was leaving to Zambia for Engineers Without Borders.

His time in Zambia has been spent developing management systems
for a business which sources honey from 6000 small holder farmers in the
North-Western forests of Zambia.  The work of Engineers Without Borders is
to improve the performance of organizations working with the rural poor by
partnering to build their organizational capacity while communicating field
realities upwards to the donors and project designers in hopes that donor
money will be more effective.  Mark has extended his placement for a second
year.

As you all know Mark is a son of Tom Hemsworth. If you want to read some of his stories you can go to his blog: www.markhemsworth.blogspot.com

The website for Engineers Without Borders is www.ewb.ca

Hope to see you all on Wednesday !
