Guest Speakers:Ginty and Lori Jocius.
Ginty talked about Agriculture being a major power in this area.
They started the Outdoor Farm Show in Burford at the research farm 11 years ago.
The first four years it rained out which was a dissapointment and a drain on the budget.
The year after, the show moved to Woodstock, since then there has been a yearly growth of about 10 percent, with this year having about 600 exhibitors. This is the only Farmers trade show that displays, and uses a Robotic milking machine with cows on site.
The Outdoor Farm Show is the largest in Canada and 3rd largest in North America.
It is using about 200 Acres.
Using most of the Hotels in the area, up to Guelph.
They also started the Great Canadian Outdoor Expo this year, which over 30.000 people attended and the expectation is that in 4 years the attendance will be about 60.000
The Outdoor Expo contains all these segments:
Camping Expo, Food Expo, Gardening Expo, Games Expo, Outdoor Expo, Sportsmen Expo, Water Expo and Wheels Expo.
We received a good overview of the shows.
Ginty and Lori were thanked by President Steve for coming out and speaking and also for hosting our club, so we could sell tickets for the Mini Chopper.

Anouk talked briefly about her schooling and explained that she now is a social worker and that when she goes back home she has a job to go to.
She also loves to go out and meet lots of people.
Good luck with your new job Anouk.
