They are from the London Hyde Park Rotary Club and they thanked us for having them today.

Here follows a summary of what they talked about, and showed on video.

We are here to talk to you about a special project our club has taken on.  This project is called StreetKeepers.
Dr. Jim Thompson is the founder of "StreetKeepers int
ernational for Children",

an organization that rescues orphaned or abandoned children from the streets in
India.

These children face extreme perils such as slavery, prostitution, disease and death.  There are no safety nets for these innocent victims but with our help we will be able to make a significant difference.

Dr. Jim is a Rotarian with the Trillium club in Guelph and together with the help of the London Hyde Park Rotary Club we have created a special and innovative project to help StreetKeepers save the lives of these children.  Dr. Jim has adopted three of these children to add to his family that already included three of his own children.

With the help of his fellow Rotarians Dr. Jim embarked on this project in partnership with the Good Shepard Sisters who shelter, clothe, feed, educate and care for these children in a loving environment until they are old enough to support themselves.
