Meeting of June 17 2009

Meeting presided by President Norm Narancsik,

This meeting was a special meeting, since we invited many guests to witness the celebration of Peter Van Wees, his retirement from Rotary and his 80th birthday coming up.

Many people spoke about Peter and his first love "succesfull selling", which has been a great help with our fundraising, Peter has been a great asset to The Woodstock-Oxford Rotary Club, he has been a member since 1990 and was totally supported by Truus and the family.

Peter was totally committed to what he promised he was going to do, when he was not on holidays, you could find him at every Rotary meeting.

Peter and Truus, thank you from all members and the community at large for your support and friendship and we are sure we will be seeing more of you.
