Meeting Recap Aug. 22 2007

This meeting was held at Nicole and Darryl's farm.
President Michael presided and welcomed everyone.
We had several guests, which were:
Tom Hemsworth from Calgary, Lisa Andrew(Prospective member), Anne McArthur, guest of Doug Vincent,Sondra Fyffe, guest of Paul Turner, Flor, our exchange student from Mexico, Wiebren De Boer, guest of Jantine.
This meeting, again we were treated with an delicious meal, which is very easy to get used to.
We will have to lower our expectations when we go back to the restaurant again.

The business part was short, just some prep. for the Toy Auction.
Michael also spoke about the Youth Exchange certification meeting which was held at the Ingersoll club, every club that wants to be in Youth Exchange needs to be certified and follow a plan laid out by Rotary International, which includes Police checks etc.
This meeting was attended by Michael, Coral, Jantine, Peter and about 10 people from other clubs.
Norm spoke about the Terry Fox run for September 16 2007, please use your pledge sheets.
Norm also has Terry Fox T-shirts available for $15.00, order early.
After the meeting we were outside admiring the beautifull motor bikes from Nicole's parents and some of us would have liked to take them for a spin.
At the end of our evening we waved off Tim with 25000 golfballs, as he was leaving for Montreal for a delivery.
