Mexico early breastcancer detection program
Hi everyone,
We are pleased to tell you that the Matching Grant for the early breastcancer detection program is completed.
Through our participation with the donation, the Hermosillo Milennio Rotary Club received $18,000 U.S. to buy equipment to teach Women how to detect breast cancer at an early stage, because many women die unnecessarily for not nowing how to detect breast cancer.
As you recall when we were asked to go and be with the club in Mexico for the official opening of the program with the new equipment, we were not able to go there because of the N1H1 virus and also the timing was not good for us as we were very busy with our work.
Even though we got a good indication of how it was going to work when we visited the Milennio Rotary Club in Hermosillo, some persons of our club still need to visit the locations where the equipment is being used to verify and be part of the program as per the rules set out in the conditions of a Matching grant by R.I.
