Emily Stott was our speaker this evening. Emily was an outbound exchange student from the Woodstock Club who returned this summer from her Rotary Youth Exchange in Austria. Emily did such an awesome presentation that I'm going to have a hard time putting it into words that compare to hers! I think I'll start at the end. We asked her to rate her Rotary experience, and she rated it a 10 out of 10.

Emily had 3 host families and each family had a child that was involved in exchange as well. Her families and Rotarians from her club took her on numerous hiking, snowboarding, festivals, history, and train trips all over the country and beyond. She was very involved in her school, artistically, and musically. She performed in a theatre program and was a part of a band. She was also very involved in her Rotary Club and the Rotarians made her feel welcome. The club she was placed in was a small club, around 40 members, and had 3 exchange students at the time. Emily was told it was the best club in Austria to be placed in! If you are interested in getting in touch with Emily, she is a great public speaker and now has experience speaking at church and Rotary events.
