A General Assembly was held at the meeting of November 23, 2005.  The meeting was presided by incoming president Paul Bradford.  The Annual General Meeting has been postponed.

Annnouncements included:
-Nominations are needed for two Club Director positions for the upcoming year.
-The club's treasurer has resigned so the responsibilities need to be covered on a temporary basis until a new treasurer is in place.
-The affairs of the Benefit Trust need to be updated.
Updates were given from some club directors:
Michael Sheehan, Club Image and Publicity:
We have had some favourable publicity recently including last week's Toyota meeting.  We are making consistent and concerted efforts for positive publicity.  Information for prospective members has been compiled and updated.
Coral Sheehan, Club Administration:
Our focus is on membership, attendance and programming.  We are appealling to each member for assistance with programming by arranging for a guest speaker/presenter.  Our club attendance needs improvement so a letter will be sent to all members outlining attendance guidelines, requirements and information.  The package for member recruitment is a team effort.  The venue for our club meetings is a subject of continued discussions.  An idea was suggested to promote meetings and guest speakers by advertising in the newspaper's "coming events" section and/or on local Rogers TV.
Paul LeRoy, Club Secretary/Communications:
Thanks again to Ilene Buchanan for her efforts in sharing the secretary duties, particularly with attendance reporting.   The club's website is an excellent tool for communication with members.  However, there is some question as to the amount of usage it receives within our club membership.

Some discussion ensued regarding Christmas giving.  This included the topics of possibly providing shoeboxes for Mexico, shoeboxes locally, or annual donation to Ingamo Homes, as well as the discussion of giving monetarily or by gift boxes or gift bags.
