Minutes of Meeting of September 13, 2006

Pieter distributed a report on the Toy Show and reported that the total proceeds/profit raised was $3980.29.  Of the proceeds, $800.00 will go to the Rotary Foundation. 

Peter Van Wees gave an update on the raffle of the lawn tractor currently taking place at the Outdoor Farm Show.  Two days of ticket sales have been completed and our costs are covered.  The income from ticket sales tomorrow will be profit.  The weather is expected to be better and so we anticipate that our sales will also be better.

Norm Narancsik presented a plaque and letter from the Terry Fox Foundation to Bill Gillespie in recognition of his faithful and continuous support for 25 years.  Norm also presented a Terry Fox book to Bill from the club as a gesture of our appreciation.  Bill gave a brief talk on the inspiration of Terry Fox.
