Our guest speaker was from First General Services Oxford, in Woodstock. He is a native of Innerkip and moved to Kitchener at the age of 5. He's been in the Property Restoration Business for 15 years, and started his business in Woodstock two years ago this coming February. He is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling.

Duane gave a great power point presentation with some really neat comedic photos of people stuck in funny situations. First General Services Oxford specializes in Emergency Response, Mould Prevention and Water Loss Protocols. Duane gave examples of typical emergencies. Three important things to know are: who to call when it happens, do your research, and be prepared.
The first step of a claim is: safety of the occupants, maintain documentation and communication, mould prevention and water loss protocols. We learned the definition of mould and the importance and different types of drying equipment. It's important to think about your personal property and ensure you have proper coverage of it. First General Services Oxford ensures rapid response and quality service.
There were many questions after his presentation about drywall, renovations, safety equipment, the list goes on.

Tracey gave our guest a warm thanks and had some interesting questions. Tracey was an Insurance Broker and shared a personal experience about dealing with Insurance Restoration Specialists.

Norm read a Remembrance Day Poem which he read in Scotland last November during his curling trip.

Tim won the 50/50. Again! He shared his winnings at Ody's afterwards.

Erik bought a new Lexus and picked it up today, therefore he was fine happy.

The meeting for next week, November 14th, was cancelled and all members were asked to do a makeup at another club.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:50p.m.
