Our speaker/Presenter will be Glen McDonald, a well known Woodstock resident. His main hobby is model railroading. Tonight we are going to learn about the Woodstock Model Railway Club.

The general theme is Canadian National/Canadian Pacific operations during the 1950's -1960's  steam to diesel transition era. Woodstock names denote areas and some industrial buildings but the only actual scale model is of the CN station. Following Glen’s presentation, as a Club, we are invited to witness first-hand the layout the various members have created at their Devonshire facility where there will be an opportunity to observe, first hand an elaborate model of Woodstock and other areas with several trains running and performing various tasks.

Everybody is welcome to attend and members are encouraged to invite friends to join us for this meeting at the Quality Hotels and Suites. Social time and meal from 6.30 pm to 7.15 pm. Cost for a meal is $20 but you can also come after the meal at 7.15 pm to listen to the speaker. We hope to see you on Wednesday November 30!
