Shoe-Box Gift Distribution in Mexico, A Hands-On Project by Rotary Clubs in District 7080

A typical gift box includes $30 value of things like: school & craft supplies, hygiene items, toys, T-shirt, toque, socks, mitts, hard candy, Canada souvenir.

( Wrap lid & box separately so child can keep as a treasure box.)
 

Last year several children went without. Please help us bring happiness to 200 more children this year.

to a needy family It Feels Good!

This is your opportunity to share in the joy of Christmas with needy children of Nogales, Mexico. Rotary Clubs in District 7080 are participating with Arizona and Mexican Rotarians, distributing these Shoe-Box gifts to the needy children. Members will travel to Mexico and distribute the gifts, truly Lending a Hand.

Funds are required to help purchase box items in Mexico.  Because of US Customs, it is much easier to accept funds and buy in Mexico.

A typical gift box includes $30 value of things like:

 School & Craft Supplies (pens, pencils, crayons, colouring & writing books)

 Toys (small vehicles, balls, dolls, yo-yos, jump ropes, kazoos, cards, games, etc.)

 Hygiene Items (soap, comb, brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, washcloth, etc.)

 Clothes (T-shirt, toque, socks, mitts)

 Other (sun glasses, picture books (not English books), Canada souvenir, etc.)

! Make up gift boxes as a family project
