This year again, the Annual Rotary Fish Fry and Silent Auction was a big success.

There were about 650 people in attendance and many of them see this as a yearly meeting with some good fellowship, a great meal by Knechtel's (fresh perch) and great music by Ferguson Drive and Mister E.

WDDS (Woodstock District Developmental Services)organized the Silent Auction with their volunteers and many great donations which in turn sold well, The silent auction and donations raised over $16,000 thanks to the donors and buyers.

The live auction was another success with a set of tires sponsored by Al's TireCraft , a value of $1,000, a television set sponsored by Leon's of Woodstock, a value of $600.00 and a weekend away in a cottage, a value of over $1,000 sponsored by the owner of the cottage.

The midnight draw, ( it was a little later)2 draws for trips to Las Vegas was what everyone was waiting for, it made some very happy people, have a good trip guys. The trips were sponsored by Pharmasave Woodstock and Pharmasave Ingersoll.

The dance evening finished at 1 PM, looking around at the crowd, everyone had a great evening.

The Fish Fry evening raised over $15,000 for the Rotary Club to be spend on local and International Humanitarian projects.

Between the Rotary Club and WDDS the total money raised was over $31,000

Thank you to all who attended, donated, purchased, sponsored and volunteered, without you, it would not happen and because of you, we can help many people in need.
